The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in common stocks of non-U.S. companies, which may include companies located or operating in developed or emerging markets. Under normal circumstances, it will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in small-capitalization equity securities (80% policy). The fund will invest at least 40% of its net assets in non-U.S. securities. While the fund invests primarily in developed markets (ex-U.S.), it may invest up to 30% of its net assets in emerging markets.
