Industry description
The investment seeks to provide shareholders with as high a level of income exempt from Federal income taxes as is consistent with the investment policies of the fund.
The fund normally invests 80% of its assets in municipal bonds. It invests primarily in investment grade municipal bonds or municipal notes, including variable rate demand obligations. The fund will maintain a dollar weighted maturity of no more than three years.
