The fund has a non-fundamental policy to invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the value of its net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes in bonds. It invests principally in long duration bonds and defines long duration as durations greater than 9 years. The fund has no restrictions on individual security duration.
