Homebuilder sentiment holds steady

The nation’s homebuilders are feeling generally positive about the market. A monthly sentiment measure held steady at 62 from February to March, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index. The index stood at 70 in March 2018. 

“Builders report the market is stabilizing following the slowdown at the end of 2018, and they anticipate a solid spring home buying season,” said NAHB Chairman Greg Ugalde, a homebuilder and developer from Torrington, Connecticut.

The fund's investment adviser uses the Davis Investment Discipline to invest at least 80% of the fund's net assets, plus any borrowing for investment purposes, in securities issued by companies principally engaged in the real estate industry.
