The fund adviser defines a small cap company as one that, at the time of initial purchase, has a market capitalization that falls within the capitalization range of the Russell 2000® Index, an index that tracks stocks of 2,000 of the smallest publicly traded U.S. companies of the Russell 3000® Index.
