The investment seeks to generate comparable returns, before fees and expenses, to the MSCI USA ESG Leaders Index that is designed to measure the performance of the large and mid-cap segments of the U.S. market and that screens companies with regards to certain ESG criteria for the equity portion of the fund’s portfolio, while mitigating downside risk by allocating a portion of the fund’s portfolio to a risk overlay strategy.
Under normal circumstances, substantially all (at least 80%) of the value of the fund’s net assets will be invested in a combination of equity securities included in the index and Defensive Investments.
