Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of the sum of its net assets and the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in equity securities of small-capitalization companies, and invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities of non-U.S. companies. It may utilize options, including options on foreign currencies, futures contracts, options on futures contracts, and forward foreign currency exchange contracts ("derivatives").
