The investment seeks to achieve a high level of current income with capital appreciation as a secondary objective.
Under normal circumstances the fund’s sub-adviser, Aegon USA Investment Management, LLC (the “sub-adviser”), seeks to achieve the fund’s objective by investing at least 80% of the fund’s net assets (plus the amount of borrowings, if any, for investment purposes) in floating rate loans or 74Transamerica Floating Rate floating rate debt securities.
