The investment seeks to provide a high level of current income consistent with the maintenance of principal and liquidity.
The fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of short- and intermediate-term high-quality fixed income securities. It is expected to maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity of 3 to 10 years. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in fixed income securities.
