Coverage of SAFX remains limited. Two current, identifiable analyst targets stand out. H.C. Wainwright analyst Amit Dayal initiated coverage with a Buy rating and a $1.00 price target in June 2026, noting that short-term softness obscures longer-term potential from the company’s integrated sustainable aviation fuel platform. Roth MKM analyst Craig Irwin lifted his target to $1.20 from $0.40 in April 2026, maintaining a Neutral rating while highlighting tangible progress at the New Rise restart and viewing the Axens collaboration as a meaningful endorsement.
The simple average of these targets lands at $1.10, with a tight range of $1.00 to $1.20. One rating is constructive while the other is neutral, so the overall “Buy” label masks divided views. I also checked this using Tickeron’s AI Screener to compare the stock’s profile against peers in the renewable fuels space.
SAFX recently traded near $0.29 inside a 52-week range of roughly $0.12 to $1.32. A move to $1.10 would imply about 274% upside, well above the 50-day and 200-day moving averages near $0.39 and $0.36. Reaching that level would require the market to shift from a discounted pre-profitability multiple to one that credits future production growth. Trailing-twelve-month revenue sits around $15.3 million against a net loss of approximately $60.7 million, so execution and financing matter far more than current earnings.
The clearest positive driver is production progress. After restarting the New Rise Renewables Reno facility earlier in 2026, XCF Global reported more than $12 million in gross product sales for September and shipped about 1.4 million gallons of renewable diesel. Daily output climbed from roughly 50,000 gallons to around 85,000 gallons by late September, closing in on the facility’s permitted nameplate capacity of 105,000 to 110,000 gallons per day. Stockholders approved a proposed combination with DevvStream and Southern Energy Renewables, which management sees as expanding the alternative-energy footprint. Continued ramping toward full capacity could support higher revenue even before sustained profitability arrives.
Challenges are considerable. Shares outstanding increased about 143% year over year, and the company sought authorization to raise the share count to 1.7 billion, pointing to possible further dilution. Leverage is elevated, with a debt-to-equity ratio near 6.9 and negative interest coverage, while the current ratio hovers close to zero. The enterprise value-to-sales multiple around 25 already embeds substantial future growth expectations. Policy support for renewable credits adds another layer of uncertainty, and low institutional ownership leaves room for sharp sentiment swings.
The chart shows a clear downtrend, with the stock below both moving averages and down roughly 75% over the past year. The $0.12 area marks the most reliable nearby support, while $0.39 to $0.40 offers the first notable resistance. Intermediate psychological levels sit at $0.50 and $1.00 on the way to the $1.10 target.
Analyst targets typically look out about 12 months. Investors should track quarterly results and production updates, with the next earnings window around mid-November. Focus areas include the pace of the production ramp, any new financing activity, progress on the pending business combination, and shifts in federal incentives for sustainable fuels.
