The investment seeks to provide current income exempt from regular federal income tax.
Under normal market conditions, at least 80% of the income from the fund will be exempt from federal income tax. It normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in issuers that the investment adviser determines operate in a manner consistent with or promote The Calvert Principles for Responsible Investment (the “Principles”) (the “Principles 80% Policy”).
