The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of companies in emerging market countries. It may invest no more than 20% of its net assets in the securities of issuers in developed market countries. In addition, it may invest in securities issued by small- and mid-sized companies and in less seasoned issuers.
