The fund manager employs a value strategy and invests, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in common and preferred stocks of small capitalization (“small cap”) companies. The fund manager defines small cap companies as those whose market capitalization, at the time of purchase, are consistent with the market capitalizations of companies in the S&P SmallCap 600® Value Index.
