The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation with less volatility than the U.S. small company market.
Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of small companies. It invests mainly in common stocks, but it may also invest in ETFs. The fund may invest in cash or money market instruments for the purpose of meeting redemption requests or making other anticipated cash payments.
