The investment seeks total return. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests in commodity-linked derivative instruments backed by a portfolio of fixed income instruments. It invests in commodity-linked derivative instruments (a contract whose value is based on a particular commodity), such as commodity-linked total return swap contracts, options and futures contracts, to gain exposure to the investment return of assets that trade in the commodity markets, without investing directly in physical commodities.
