The investment seeks total return, consisting of current income and capital appreciation.
Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 70% of the fund’s net assets in debt securities; up to 75% of the fund’s total assets in debt securities that are below investment grade; and up to 60% of the fund’s total assets in debt securities of foreign issuers including emerging markets issuers and debt securities in foreign currencies. The fund may invest in debt securities of foreign issuers, including emerging markets issuers, denominated in any currency.
