Comcast will now own all of Sky.
In Saturday’s auction, Comcast outbid 21st Century Fox for a majority stake in the European pay-TV company. And now, Fox is willing to sell its 39% stake in Sky to Comcast. "In light of the premium Comcast has agreed to pay for Sky, we and Disney have decided to sell 21CF's existing 39% holding in Sky to Comcast," Fox announced. "We congratulate Comcast on their pending acquisition."
Comcast’s final bid for Sky was £17.28 ($22.65) per share – which is 25% higher than its previous offer of £14.75 ($19.43) per share.
