Swing Trader (80%), Trend Trader (20%) Long Bias Strategies: Valuation & Dip Trends in Popular Stocks (TA&FA)
Description:
Swing Trader, Popular Stocks ($1.5K per position): Long Bias Strategy (TA&FA)
Overview and Suitability: This AI robot is designed for traders who prefer to trade popular stocks with good liquidity and low spreads and are focused on taking mostly long positions. The robot is equipped with a pool of technical indicators with unique parameters that allow it to detect uptrend reversal points in time and avoid drawdowns during a downtrend.
The robot comes with a basic risk management strategy, which has been developed for a trading balance of $100,000 and a position size of $1500 per trade. However, traders have the flexibility to adjust their trading balance as per their requirements, and as a result, the position size will change proportionally. For instance, if the trading balance is adjusted to $50,000, the position size will automatically adjust to $750.
Position and Risk Management: To increase profitability and accuracy of opening and closing trades, the algorithm uses different approaches to long and short positions. When entering a long trade, the robot places a fixed "Take Profit" order at the level of 4% and a fixed "Stop Loss" order at the level of 3% of the position opening price. On the other hand, when entering a short trade, the robot places a fixed "Take Profit" order at the level of 3% of the position opening price and a flexible trailing stop, which allows the robot to keep most of the profit in case of a market reversal.
This AI robot is most suitable for active traders who have enough time to track 40-50 trades simultaneously. The average trade duration is 3-4 days, which makes following the signals of this robot simple and affordable for beginner traders.
The robot selects stocks using a proprietary method developed by the team of quants to assess the strength and quality of the momentum of the most active stocks in the US stock market. The algorithm then uses a pool of technical indicators to determine the entry points to the position. The algorithm also pays special attention to the balance of short and long positions, making the robot resistant to changes in the main market trend.
