The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to maximize returns by investing primarily in quality growth-oriented equity securities in emerging markets. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's assets will be invested in equity securities of issuers located in emerging market countries. It may, but it is not required to, use derivatives and similar instruments for a variety of purposes, including hedging, risk management, portfolio management or to earn income.
