Starbucks and Alibaba Announced the New Service in China

What is the first word that comes to mind when you say “Morning Coffee”? Starbucks has produced an incredible number of innovations in the coffee business. As of 2017, there are 27,339 Starbucks according to Statista.

And how many different drinks are offered at Starbucks? The answer is mindboggling: 87,000 different drink combinations have been sold since 2006. It seems that nothing else can be invented. However, Starbucks keeps coming up with the new ideas. A few days ago, Starbucks and Alibaba decided to transform the entire coffee drinking experience in China. Starbucks will start delivery service in China next month, using Alibaba's Ele.me platform. It has three million registered delivery riders (most of them use scooters or bicycles). In Beijing and Shanghai you can just use the app to order the coffee. It will be delivered to you.
