Coupa Software reported adjusted earnings of 20 cents in a share for the second quarter, handily topping analyst’ expectations of 9 cents a share (based on FactSet poll). Revenue of $211.1 million also beat consensus of $203.8 million.
The company offers payment management software for procurement, invoicing, sourcing and business expenses.
For the current quarter, Coupa is expecting earnings in the range of 8 to 10 cents per share, above the Street’s forecast of a 6 cents a share profit. It is projecting revenue between $211 million and $214 million, vs. consensus estimate of $214.6 million.
Looking ahead, Coupa said it’s looking for earnings of between 37 and 44 cents per share for the full year, compared to the Street’s guidance of 26 cents per share. The company is expecting revenue in the range of $838 million to $844 million, vs. the Street forecast of $840.3 million.
