Nvidia posted fourth quarter adjusted earnings of 88 cents a share, beating the Street expectations of 81 cents a share.
Revenue of $6.05 billion also topped the $6.02 billion estimate (according to FactSet poll). Sales for its Data Center division, which makes AI chips, climbed +11%, while sales of the unit that makes chips for gaming devices fell -46%.
The semiconductor company is expecting revenue with a midpoint of $6.5 billion in the first quarter, above the $6.31 billion consensus.
Nvidia said it was collaborating with cloud-service providers to offer AI-as-a-service, selling companies access to its AI platform.
