Amazon posted its quarterly results that missed analysts’ expectations.
The e-commerce company’s earnings came in at $7.56 per share for the quarter, falling short of Thomson Reuters’ consensus estimate of $9.33 (according to MarketWatch Earnings report).
Revenue rose +7.3% from the year-ago quarter to $116.44 billion during the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $116.52 billion.
Some research analysts recently produced their price target on Amazon shares. Cowen lowered their target price on Amazon.com shares to $4,250.00 from $4,400.00 on Friday. Susquehanna Bancshares cut their price target on the shares to $3,800.00 from $5,000.00 in a research note on Friday. Monness Crespi & Hardt lowered their price target from $4,500.00 to $3,700.00 and set a “buy” rating on shares.
