Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) posted its fiscal second quarter earnings that fell short of analysts’ expectations.
The IT company's earnings for the quarter came in at $0.19 per share. Excluding items, adjusted earnings were $0.44 per share for the period, compared to analysts’ estimates of $0.45 per share, (according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters).
Revenue for the quarter climbed +0.1% from the year-ago quarter to $6.71 billion.
For the next quarter, HPE is expecting its earnings per share in the range of $0.44 to $0.54. Looking further ahead, the company projects full year earnings per share in the range of $1.96 to $2.10.
