Beyond Meat (BYND, $142.92) burger trial ended by McDonald's (MCD, $180.81)

McDonald's  confirmed that it had phased out its Beyond Meat burger trial in Canada. 

McDonald's launched two consecutive trials of its plant, lettuce and tomato burger in several restaurants in Ontario Between Sept. 30 and April 6. McDonald’s said that there is  no current plans to bring it back to its menu at this time.

"I can assure you, there's no issue with McDonald's," said Beyond Meat Chief Executive Ethan Brown when he was asked about the end of the trial, as reported in CBC.
