Data as of October 6, 2026 (intraday)
Key Takeaways
- The viral list checks out. We rebuilt "NTM revenue growth" for all 15 companies from consensus estimates and reported revenue. 13 of the 14 we could test land within 0.4 points of the posted figures. Only SNOW differs, at 30.4% vs. 32.0%. We could not test SHOP because our data has no quarterly estimates for it.
- PLTR leads at 64.6%. Analysts expect Palantir's revenue to grow from $6.16B over the last 12 months to $10.13B over the next 12.
- Fast growth is not the same as a good buy. The stocks that are already near record highs and trade at or above analyst targets (NET, CRWD, PANW, DDOG) have little room left. The growers that sold off (ORCL, APP, AXON) offer the most upside.
- Tickeron AI's verdict: 7 BUYS, 8 SELLS. Top BUYS: APP (+87.3% to target), ORCL (+75.1%), AXON (+67.4%), SNOW (+28.4%) and IOT (+25.9%).
- Tickeron has built Financial Learning Models (FLMs) and AI Trading Bots for all 15 stocks. The FLMs read each stock's trend, and the Bots trade sector rotation across AI software, cloud, ad tech and cybersecurity.
What Is NTM Revenue Growth? A Retail Investor's Guide
NTM stands for "Next Twelve Months." It is Wall Street's estimate of how much revenue a company will bring in over the coming four quarters.
NTM revenue growth compares that estimate with what the company actually earned over the last twelve months (LTM, also called TTM, "trailing twelve months"):
NTM growth=NTM revenue (estimated)LTM revenue (reported)−1\text{NTM growth} = \frac{\text{NTM revenue (estimated)}}{\text{LTM revenue (reported)}} - 1NTM growth=LTM revenue (reported)NTM revenue (estimated)−1
A worked example with Palantir:
- Revenue over the last four reported quarters: $6.16B
- Analysts' estimate for the next four quarters: $10.13B
- NTM growth: 64.6%
Why it matters:
- It's forward-looking. Stock prices move on expectations, not history. NTM tells you what the market is already counting on.
- It's apples to apples. Companies have different fiscal years (Oracle's ends in May, Snowflake's in January). NTM resets every company to the same rolling 12-month window, so you can compare them fairly.
- It powers valuation. Dividing market value by NTM revenue gives the forward price-to-sales ratio (P/S), the most common way to value fast-growing software companies.
The catch:
- NTM figures are estimates, so they rise and fall as analysts revise their models.
- A company priced for 40% growth that delivers 30% can fall sharply even though 30% is excellent.
- Always pair growth with valuation and price trend.

Verdict: The list is accurate. Small gaps (SNOW, CRWD, IOT, GOOGL) come from estimate revisions and timing, and most of the figures match to the decimal.
The Four Growth Narratives
Narrative 1: AI Platforms and Data (PLTR, SNOW, DDOG, FIG)
These companies turn enterprise data into AI applications. Data has to be stored (SNOW), monitored (DDOG), turned into decisions (PLTR) and designed into products (FIG).
PLTR (Palantir) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. The fastest grower on the list at 64.6%, but at 43.7x forward sales and only +4.3% to the $201.00 average target, the growth is already fully priced in.
SNOW (Snowflake) — BUY. 1-month forecast: UP. 30.4% NTM growth at 16.4x forward sales, with 94% of analysts bullish and +28.4% upside, makes it the best risk-reward in AI data.
DDOG (Datadog) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. The business is excellent (24.5% growth), but the stock is only 5% below its 52-week high, with just +3.8% left to the average target.
FIG (Figma) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. The stock is 69% off its high, and only 44% of analysts are bullish, the weakest conviction on the list, so wait for the trend to turn first.
Narrative 2: AI Cloud and Infrastructure (ORCL, DOCN, NET, GOOGL)
These companies rent out the compute and networks that AI runs on.
ORCL (Oracle) — BUY. 1-month forecast: UP. 37.5% expected growth at only 4.2x forward sales, with the stock 55% below its high and +75.1% to target, is the biggest disconnect between growth and price in this group.
DOCN (DigitalOcean) — BUY. 1-month forecast: UP. 41.3% NTM growth, the second-fastest on the list, at 10.8x forward sales, with 83% of analysts bullish and +11.4% upside.
GOOGL (Alphabet) — BUY. 1-month forecast: UP. A $4,218B giant still expected to grow 24.1%, at just 7.6x forward sales and +23.5% to target, is one of the cheapest growth stories in AI infrastructure.
NET (Cloudflare) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. At 38.8x forward sales, only 4% off its high and already above the $335.20 average target (-5.8%), the stock has outrun the analysts.
Narrative 3: AI-Powered Advertising and Commerce (APP, SHOP, ZETA)
These companies use AI to target ads and drive online sales.
APP (AppLovin) — BUY. 1-month forecast: UP. 35.0% growth at 10.2x forward sales, with the stock 62% off its high, gives it the largest upside on the list: +87.3% to target.
SHOP (Shopify) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. The list shows strong 25.8% expected growth (we could not verify it), but with only +3.3% to the average target and the stock 10% off its high, there is little room left.
ZETA (Zeta Global) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. 24.4% growth at a cheap 4.2x forward sales, but the stock already trades above its $32.27 average target (-1.8%).
Narrative 4: Security and Physical-World AI (AXON, PANW, CRWD, IOT)
These companies protect networks (PANW, CRWD) and put AI into police work and vehicle fleets (AXON, IOT).
AXON (Axon) — BUY. 1-month forecast: UP. 30.9% NTM growth, with the stock 52% below its high and 92% of analysts bullish, sets up +67.4% upside to $706.25.
IOT (Samsara) — BUY. 1-month forecast: UP. 20.6% growth at 10.8x forward sales, with +25.9% upside, makes it the value pick in physical-world AI.
CRWD (CrowdStrike) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. At 42.8x forward sales, the richest multiple on the list, and trading above its $251.00 average target (implied upside -10.0%), the stock is priced beyond what analysts see.
PANW (Palo Alto Networks) — SELL. 1-month forecast: DOWN. The stock is only 3% off its high and already above its $411.90 average target (-1.9%), leaving no cushion if growth slows.

The pattern: every BUY has sold off at least 12% from its high. Every SELL except FIG trades within 10% of its high, or above its analyst target. On this list, the opportunity is in fast growth the market has stopped paying for, not the most growth.
How Tickeron's FLMs and AI Trading Bots Cover All 15
Tickeron has created a Financial Learning Model (FLM) for every stock in this report: PLTR, DOCN, ORCL, APP, SNOW, AXON, NET, FIG, SHOP, DDOG, ZETA, GOOGL, PANW, CRWD and IOT. Each FLM learns its stock's trend, breakout and pullback patterns. That helps separate a fast grower starting a new uptrend (ORCL, APP) from one that is stretched near its highs (NET, CRWD).
Tickeron also runs AI Trading Bots for all 15. The Bots take the sector into account, tracking money as it rotates between AI software, cloud infrastructure, ad tech and cybersecurity. They size positions to each stock's volatility, which matters for high-multiple software names that can move 10% on one earnings report.
The bottom line: NTM growth tells you what Wall Street expects. Price, valuation and trend tell you whether you are still early. Use the FLMs and Bots to tell the two apart.
For informational purposes only; not investment advice. Prices as of October 6, 2026, intraday. NTM revenue is the sum of the next four quarters of consensus estimates after each company's latest reported quarter; LTM is the sum of the last four reported quarters.
